Plain-English explanation of how we handle data
Non-custodial message passing and coordination only. We never hold, control, or have access to your Bitcoin. The coordinator facilitates communication between participants but cannot access your private keys or funds.
No persistent logs of IPs or HTTP headers; ephemeral data purged automatically. Any temporary data needed for abuse prevention is held in memory only and automatically deleted after the session ends.
None, unless strictly necessary (session only). We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party cookies. If session cookies are needed for security, they expire when you close your browser.
Fees are protocol-level; we do not process fiat or custodial payments. The coordinator fee is deducted automatically during the CoinJoin process. We never handle credit cards, bank accounts, or any personal payment information.
No embedded third-party analytics, ads, fonts, or CDNs. We host everything ourselves to prevent data leakage to external services. No Google Analytics, no Facebook pixels, no external tracking of any kind.
Servers in Switzerland; transparency reports published monthly. We operate under Swiss privacy laws, which are among the strongest in the world. All data processing happens within Swiss borders.
We can't provide data we don't have. Since we don't log IPs, transaction details, or user identities, we cannot comply with data requests for information we never collected. Any legally permissible requests will be documented in our transparency reports.
Any changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance on our transparency page. We will never retroactively change our data practices or start collecting data we previously said we wouldn't collect.
